The Early Days

Robert H. Keough founded his electrical contracting company in 1945. Since then, three generations of the Keough family have helped customers throughout Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley benefit from latest advances in electrical technology.

In 1963, Robert’s son Jerome Keough took the helm of the company, leading Keough Electric into the more specialized area of industrial/commercial electrical contracting.

Modern Times

Most recently, Keough Electric was joined in 1985 by the third generation, Dennis Keough, our current president. Dennis is also a registered Professional Engineer. With this newest generation comes the same commitment and care that have helped the family business succeed from its beginning.

In 1999, Keough Electric moved from its original location near Broad St. to a newly renovated office and warehouse in South Philadelphia.
